There is a unique stone collection that encircles the historic farm homestead.
Stones, hundreds of tons, with an interesting New England stone fence around the farm.
Many of the rocks are dated in the mid 1800's through the turn of the century, with pioneer and civil war vet names and dates.
These dates, names, and places have been chiseled by Virgil Reed, a Pioneer Civil War vet.
The present owners, The Barnharts, are continuing on with the names, dates, and stone collecting.
Come see the history of the early pioneer days. Also the future of Barnhart's Stone Corner Farm Market. Hope to see you there.
